Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Kickstart BJJ club was established in 1996 under

Colin Crosby. This was the first Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club

in Townsville and one of the very first in North Queensland.

Since this time Colin Crosby has gone on to produce multiple

state, national and international competitors and champions

in almost all forms of modern combative sports including BJJ,

Submission Wrestling, Judo, Pancration, Sambo, FreeStyle

Wrestling, Full Contact Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing, Amateur

and Professional MMA. Along with this extensive experience

in combative sports as a competitor and Coach, Colin

Crosby also held the position of Wrestling Coach for the North Queensland Cowboys for 7 seasons.

We welcome BJJ exponents and competitors from anywhere regardless of affiliation,

come in and share some mat time:) (Out of town visitors, no charge)
